Most of my travels were through the western part of America, which has obviously to do with the fact that I used to live in the San Francisco Bay area. But this is not the only reason. In my opinion, the area westward of the Rocky Mountains has to offer the most bizarre and most beautiful nature of the USA.
That doesn't mean I don't like the rest of the United States. I also think that
New England,
Hawai'i 
and Alaska are absolute highlights.
